If you haven’t gotten your hands on a teddy bear coat yet, you’re seriously missing out. They have been all the rage this winter season and could hands down be the warmest, softest, coziest, piece of outwear you’ll ever own. Period.
Are you seriously writing about winter coats in March?
Yes. I am.
Okay… So, I probably should have written this post back in December but truth be told I completely forgot to. I blame it on Christmas Brain Syndrome.
But that’s okay, because winter in Utah has just begun (it looks like a blizzard right now), and it seems like most people are still battling freezing cold temperatures.
It’s not too late to get your hands on one of these fun and cozy coats for the winter season!
I’ve worn this coat everywhere, including in my house when my fiance decides to keep the temperature below freezing. I’m pretty sure I’ve even used it as a blanket once. The red color is so fun, but if it’s too much for you there is also a gorgeous camel color that is a perfect neutral!
I have a serious love affair with this jacket.
I threw on my go-to faux leather leggings from Spanx. If you don’t have a pair of these leggings you need to get your hands one a pair ASAP. They are the most slimming pair of leggings on the planet (I also wore them here).
I swear to God you shave off ten pounds when you put them on.
And when I say they keep everything in… I mean it! The fabric is stretchy but feels VERY durable. It doesn’t feel like you’re going to bust through the seems like with some leggings that I own (which actually happened to me once at the airport….).
I’m usually not a huge fan of UGGS. To be honest with you, I think they are kind of ugly and make your feet look huge. Does anyone else agree? I found these UGGS at Nordstroms and instantly fell in love with this style. They are shorter than the normal UGGS, and have cute little bows on the front that take away from the clunky big-foot feel that a lot of UGGS have. I’m so glad I made the purchase as I’ve been wearing them non stop (almost as much as the red teddy coat) and the shorter shaft makes them the perfect shoes to wear when flying.
On a side note…I’m frankly beyond excited for the snow storm that’s about to let loose on Utah because we are hitting the slopes on Sunday and there is going to be some amazing powder. Not that it really matters to me. I’m still a total beginner and I’m just practicing on making it down the mountain in one piece.
